Fully adjustable legs for uneven ground
All four legs of our Henchman Hi-Step platform are adjustable, meaning that you’ll always have a flat, non-slip foundation to work on. Our legs can independently expand up to 60cm. However, this can increase to up to 1.5m with our Adjustable Platform Step Ladder Extender, no matter the original size of your ladder.
If you’re looking for complete flexibility when it comes to your working height, then our Hi-Step platform is the ladder for you. This ladder is tested by the British Standards Institution (BSI) and conforms with BS EN 131-2:2010+A2:2017, meaning that, with our Henchman Hi-Step aluminium garden ladders, you’ll experience professional safety when working at height.

Selecting the right size Henchman Hi-Step Platform Ladder
We designed our Hi-Step Ladder to be as flexible as possible. That’s why we offer multiple sizes for you to choose from.
Our largest size - the Henchman Hi-Step Maxi - has a working range of 3.0m to 4.2m.
On the other end of the scale, the working range of the Henchman Henchman Hi-Step Midi is 2.1m to 3.3m, while the Henchman Hi-Step Senior has a range of 2.4m to 3.6m.
Note that all measurements provided are with ladder legs fully retracted. The height of our ladder platforms is 0.9m below the overall height of the ladder, for example the Hi-Step Midi is 2.1m tall, the standing platform is at 1.2m.
To ensure you choose the right ladder size for you, you should know how high you need to reach before placing your order. For example, if you’re looking to trim a hedge, you will need a ladder that’s the same height as that hedge.

To avoid ordering the wrong sized ladder, it’s important you know exactly how high you need to reach before you order.
For example, if you’re using your ladder to trim hedges, we suggest picking one that’s more or less the same height as that hedge.
